Taqi al-Din al-Subki states: "Isa (as) will descend at the end of time upon the law of Muhammad (saw), while remaining a noble prophet in his own state ... Had the Prophet (saw) been sent in the times of earlier prophets, they would have remained prophets to their peoples, while he would have been a prophet over all of them. His prophethood is therefore more general, more comprehensive, and greater" - Fatawa al-Subki
